I've used it for 2 months straight now and it's never had a hiccup. Both the picture mode and the 30 second video mode have worked really well both day and night.As far as the motion sensor sensitivity it is really good, I've had very few false trips. A few times I thought that it took a video for no reason but realized it was picking up 3 or 4 quail walking on the ground out in front of it. Picture quality is good for the price. I would compare it to a lower quality point and shoot camera. The delay between the motion sensor and actually taking the picture is close to 3 or 4 seconds. This would be my biggest gripe with this camera! Battery life is also really good. I bought some rechargeable 4500 MAh batteries and it will take pictures well over a month with out killing the batteries. In the video mode it lasts a little over 2 weeks and I think this was because most of the video's were at night... They seem solid, but they lose a point for two things: The delay between movement and the picture, and one went bad less than 10 days after I put it up. The company I ordered from off of Amazon had top notch service and the item was replaced in just a few days, though.I have two of them and I'm using them to watch my house with. Admittedly, they weren't designed for this, but I just wanted something dirt cheap to watch my front porch with...and I did not want to run wiring or have to leave a dvr on in my house 24/7 (nor waste time looking back through a bunch of boring video). Since they aren't actually taking a lot of pictures, the battery life is quite good. Since they weren't actually designed as security cameras, the delay sucks and these things do very badly in low light. The infrared pictures are amazing, but if they aren't outside, they wash out quite a bit. The camera outside my porch takes great pictures...
