So I decided to start looking online at different sites. I had already purchased and returned two pair of shoes already because after walking around the house with them, I decided I would not make it through the entire day and night with them. So after seeing this pair, I decided to give it another try. I was so anxious to receive them and I am so pleased with them. I cannot wear a very high heel and I found out that the wrap around ankle strap did not work for me. The heel is perfect for me and I feel more secure with the slingback. The only thing I was concerned about with this shoe was the rhinestones and pearls on the top. I wasn't sure if they would be sharp and catch on the bottom of my dress. I am happy to say that I found nothing sharp or jagged. I feel I made the right choice. This shoe is exactly what I was looking for. I'm glad I read the reviews ahead of time because I knew not to order a size bigger or widder, and that the straps might be a little long and possible fall off the heel. I actually got the shoe through Endless shoe, which is also owned by Amazon! I order the shoes at about 5:30 pm on a Tuesday, and I got them on Thursday. No tax, or shipping! The shoe fit perfectly--no brake-in period and at the 1.5 inch heel, they were so comfortable, I wore them all day, right out the box. One strp was a little long, and fell down a little, but I carried a straight pin--instant fix. These shoes are just awesome --- very glamorous, and the perfect touch for formal night aboard our next cruise. (I say "second pair" because I had to return the first pair; apparently Annie shoes run larger than others, as my usual size was much too wide.) I'm delighted to know I now have a great source for some lovely fancy footwear! :-) I appreciate your excellent service, as well. |
